This is my inquiry project on How do fossils for and how do they help us. This is uploaded from thing link. On the weekend I will be having my birthday party. The next day I will be either playing with my presents or will be asleep. On Saturday I will be having a family party with my family and will get to see some family that I haven't seen in a while. Sunday will be dedicated to just sitting back and relaxing. The best thing at the party will be the food. Walking tacos and tater tots are a good mix of food. I am looking forward to tonight which is my first party.
We had a guest speaker come today from Sierra Leon and his name was Samuel Menyongar. He came to talk about how hard it is to live there because of the polluted water that they have. "Some kids would get so sick that they would die at age five or four." The polluted water makes it hard on people in Sierra Leone and the rest of Africa." Samuel can't go back to his town Konde Farm because of the Ebola disease. He said he wanted to thank his teachers for helping him learn because if not for them he would not have come to speak to us.
Samuel can't go back to his town Konde Farm because of the Ebola disease. Another disease is malaria. Malaria is when you drink too much polluted water and it makes you hallucinate. This just shows how bad the water is there. If we donate money to them they can build wells to help get clean water for them to drink. I think it was really cool to have a speaker from Africa come to talk to us about how their life is and how we can help them. I think I should say I don’t know more often, because I say I know the answer when I am actually wrong. I think a lot of people say they know something when they know they are not One time in 1st grade I told my sister I know how to set up a computer and them she told me to do it and then I said I can't do fight now because I am supposed to be doing something. Here is a video of kid president called "20 things we should say more often." "Harbin's 30th ice and snow show festival is spectacular" from Dogonews explains about a ice and snow festival that is for people who want to see great ice sculptures. I think that the festival is great I would like to go there. I've even read a paragraph about it once.
Mr. Glade asked, why do people visit the Harbin Ice Festival? I answered, one reason is that they have giant ice sculptures. Another is that they have snow boarding and swimming. In the fourth paragraph it says that they even have Rhomes coliseum, New York's Empire State building. "Sleepy teens get a later wake-up call" from Los Angeles talks about how school starts to early for teens because they can't go to sleep that early.
I agree because if teens don't get enough sleep they can't think strait and that means they can't learn. So I think if schools should open at later times if teens are going to be able to work. The boy who looked like Lincoln is about a boy who looks like Lincoln who doesn't want to look like him.
First in P.E. we did the 12 minute run. I did three laps before the timer was finished. Second , I got to practice my trombone in the band room. I got better at blowing and at playing notes. It is hard to get the right pitch. Those are two great things a did this week.
